The Forum is supporting an international fundraising effort to provide basic mental health care for Afghan journalists who have had to flee their country. Initiated by Dr. Anthony Feinstein, the campaign is led by ReNEWS and Agence France Presse. They have created the Trauma Fund for Afghan Journalists, administered by the UK-based Rory Peck Trust to which the Forum is contributing.
