Brian Kelly is a Monteal-born television news cameraman who worked for CFCF, Global News and CTV in Canada before moving to London, England, in 1979, where he has been based ever since. He has covered a wide variety of news stories in many countries, including some of the worst conflict zones, mostly for ABC (USA), CBS, CTV and CBC. After experiencing, as he says, too many war zones and coping with the violent deaths of too many colleagues and friends, he was treated for PTSD for six years. He continues to work as a news cameraman, while sharing reflections on his long relationship with trauma for educational purposes.
